Redpill Linpro awarded a framework agreement worth 6 billion kronor
Redpill Linpro announced today that the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency has awarded the digital society developer and open-source specialist a new framework agreement for software solutions and licences.
The scope of the procured framework agreement for software solutions is broad and covers digitalisation services in areas such as APIs and integration, CRM, web analytics and open data solutions. Redpill Linpro is one of seven selected suppliers to have been awarded the contract. Building an IT infrastructure free from vendor lock-in has become one of the public sector’s most important strategic issues. Many organisations are now turning to Redpill Linpro for this type of solution, where open-source software provides a stable foundation for achieving full control over their data whilst meeting stringent regulatory requirements. Not least, this is vital for the public sector to be able to harness the full potential of AI.
– The public sector needs digital services based on open source that guarantee full control over its own data. That is precisely what we enable. With this new framework agreement, we look forward to continuing to help even more organisations build a secure and modern digital society, concludes Henrik Gavelli.
The agreement runs for four years and is estimated to generate a turnover of around 6 billion kronor. The agreement may be utilised up to a total turnover of 12 billion kronor. With this decision, Redpill Linpro renews its role as a framework agreement supplier to the public sector and strengthens its position as a key player in digital innovation within the Swedish public sector.
– We are incredibly proud that the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency has renewed its confidence in us to deliver software solutions to the public sector. Under the new contract, we will focus strongly on continuing to create the conditions for Swedish government agencies and local authorities to continue their digitalisation journey in a secure manner, says Henrik Gavelli, CEO of Redpill Linpro.
